Does anyone know what honey is used for in spellwork, and what are some good myths and lore about honey? I read that in ancient egypt, men has to promise a woman X amount of honey to have her as his wife....I cannot find the original article on that, does anyone know more about that factoid?

Thank you :)

Nope but that is interesting. I do know that honey wine known as mead is used in some Celtic Pagan ceremonies. I am sure honey has been used in spellwork. Most spellwork is metaphor for your intentions anyway so if you want to use honey in a spell, go for it, you decide what it symbolizes for you, be creative and harm none,.

know that in the Jewish tradition teachers would put a touch of honey on students' lips to make the lesson sweet... don't know if that's a 'spell'...
