  little vague, was it in Manhattan? Brooklyn? little more info would make it easier to figure out where your talking about.
  is there not a stamp on the inside flap of the book? what was the name of the book, you may be able to order it elsewhere or closer to where you live.

    It was Manhattan. I don't remember the name of the book. It's really the bookstore I am looking for, rather than the book. Wish I knew more.
    
    I loved being in that store- I'm going to NY this Summer and would love to be in it again.

      great store but i cant recall the name either.
      I believe it is on Lexington in the 90s
